The aim of the study is to critically review various concepts of utterance analysis in the context of identifying promising vectors for creating a comprehensive theory of the French phrase, taking into account the cognitive-communicative data of the new linguaepistemology. Achieving this goal opens up opportunities for optimally constructive positioning of the phenomenon of “phrase-utterance” (hereinafter – PU) as an object of research within the framework of converse analysis. The scientific novelty of the study consists in applying a convergent approach to the study of various concepts of PU and in creating an updated model of linguo-semiological description of phrasal unities to clarify the conceptual apparatus and more clearly structure the terminology of syntactic disciplines, as well as the theory of language and the theory of communication. The concept of PU proposed in the work is relatively new, it is based on the semiological and psycholinguistic principle of structuring the term, which creates an epistemological reserve for constructing a linguo-gnoseological platform for an autonomous philological discipline. The key point of the work is the interpretation of the phrase-utterance as a labile and dynamically functioning unit of discourse and narrative of various types with its own system of semiotic supports and reference points reflecting the emotional and expressive intentions of the subject of the utterance. Based on the obtained retrospective critical data, it becomes possible to identify additional mechanisms for the formation of an updated epistemological narrative, which leads to a dialogue and constructive synergy between representatives of various sciences and disciplines, on the paths of constructing and implementing models of adequate empathic communication associated with the dynamics of the development of the interaction of linguo-semiotic and linguocultural parameters of the speech act.
