Analysis identifies high-risk geological hazards in Ciletuh Palabuhanratu, suggesting strategies for disaster management.
Disaster events in Indonesia show an increase in numbers. The DIBI BNPB report shows that in 2000 there were 63 disaster events and in 2020 it reached 4977. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to manage disasters that begin with a risk assessment. The establishment of the Ciletuh Palabuhanratu Geopark Area by UNESCO will indirectly increase the value of investment in the development of tourist attractions. Sustainable construction requires a disaster risk index. The main data source comes from InaRISK BNPB, the parameters taken are in the form of soil movement hazards, tsunamis, and earthquakes. The method to determine the disaster hazard area by weighting each variable type of geological hazard. The results show that the areas of Pelabuhanratu and Simpenan are included in the Danger area, with high categories being cisolok, cikakak, and ciemas. Meanwhile, the medium and low areas are ciracap, surade, and waluran. To support what type of mitigation is appropriate, you can see the Multi-Hazard Identification Map.
