Abstract Distributed models of veterinary clinical education are increasingly common, providing opportunities to enhance spectrum of care training in different clinical contexts. Challenges to introducing distributed models include navigating the tension between learning and commercial pressures, ensuring appropriate training for practice teams, and ensuring all stakeholders feel valued. This Viewpoint article draws on the literature and experiences at a UK institution to outline strategies for successful partnerships, focusing on “The 3 Cs” of communication, collaboration, and community.
