This research examines marginal abatement costs in power transmission projects using OpenBIM, highlighting economic implications for low-carbon strategies.
In power transmission and transformation projects, reducing carbon emissions often comes with additional economic burdens. To accurately evaluate the economic impact of low-carbon strategies, this study proposes a technical approach based on Open Building Information Modeling (OpenBIM) to analyze the Marginal Abatement Cost of low-carbon strategies. Taking a specific transmission and substation building as an example, research indicates that there is a synergistic effect between LCCE and LCC, whereas the four measures are mutually exclusive. Conclusion: In the implementation process of construction projects, it is advisable to determine low-carbon strategies with significant cost-effectiveness based on quantitative analysis instead of arbitrarily raising the benchmark level.
