This research explores the impact of multi-walled carbon nanotubes on electrical conductivity in chloroprene rubber nanocomposites, suggesting optimal concentrations for conductivity.
Electrically conductive flexible nanocomposites have been obtained by modifying a solution of chloroprene rubber in ethyl acetate with multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) Taunit and Taunit-M. The influence study of the structure of MWCNTs on the electrical conductivity of chloroprene nanocomposites was carried out. It was found that for the formation of a percolation circuit in the chloroprene rubber matrix, it was necessary to use 10 wt. % and 1 wt. % Taunit and Taunit-M, respectively. The maximum electrical conductivity of the nanocomposites was 6.54·10-2 S / cm and 1.67·10-2 S / cm at a Taunit concentration of 20 wt. % and Taunit M - 9 wt. %, respectively.
