Proposed method enhances security and privacy in cloud services by improving multi-factor authentication using elliptic curve cryptography.
Authentication methods make sure that only the right people can use cloud services. These days, more than one authentication factor is used simultaneously to make authentication stronger. Even if two authentication factors are compromised, the multi-factor authentication (MFA) protocol will still provide the best security available. This paper protects individual privacy when using cloud storage by ensuring anonymity and unlikability. The new thing is that the session key is also safe because each user and cloud server gets a unique session key. Also, the protocol must provide complete privacy and remain safe from attackers if data leaks temporarily. Ability to resist attempts to impersonate another user, server, or even a privileged insider. Utilization of a random model with Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) to test the scheme's strength by showing that important information cannot be taken from messages sent and received during login and authentication. The simulation results indicate that the proposed method reduces the time compared to other existing methods.
