Schröder (geophysics, portable X-Ray Fluorescence and 3D site recording), D. Zell (digital terrain modelling) and R. Hirsch of Makman Dunes Desert Lodge (accommodation and infrastructure). Students from the University of Cologne participated in the archaeological survey and geophysical prospection. We thank both the Israel Antiquities Authority and the Israel Nature and Parks Authority for their permits and their continuous support of our project.
