Analysis reveals genetic mutations influence radiosensitivity in cancer cell lines, suggesting targeted therapies may improve responses.
Abstract This study investigates how genetic mutations play a key role in influencing a tumor’s radiation response: its radiosensitivity. By leveraging bioinformatics and large-scale data analysis, we identified key pathways and uncovered how specific mutations affect radiation response in cell lines. In this study, we successfully trained machine learning models on genetic mutation data to predict radiosensitivity, paving the way for more precise and effective cancer therapies.
