International collaboration enhances understanding of nuclear matter in rare isotope physics, suggesting significant advancements.
With the recent construction and operation of RAON, domestic activities in RI nuclear physics are expected to multiply in an unprecedented way. Since last year, a new, international research platform has started in the name of TOPTIER Platform for Extreme Rare Isotope Science with Institute of Basic Science of Korea and RIKEN-Nishina Center of Japan. Korea University and Seoul National University are two participating universities in this platform.
