Digital Education and the Enhancement of Writing Skills: Towards an Effective Pedagogical Strategy in Moroccan Schools (Lower Secondary Education as a Model)

The topic of digitizing the educational system in Morocco is one of the current issues prompted by rapid technological transformations, which have brought about both challenges and opportunities in the field of education. In this shifting context, there is an increasing need to utilize digital media and information and communication technologies to improve the quality of learning and enhance teaching practices. This article aims to explore the dimensions of digital education by addressing a range of theoretical and practical aspects. It begins by defining this mode of education and clarifying the fundamental differences between it and traditional education. The article then outlines its main objectives, including enhancing learner autonomy, developing digital skills, and expanding learning opportunities for all. Various models of digital education are discussed, such as blended learning, distance learning, and self-directed learning, with the characteristics of each model highlighted. The practical part of the article focuses on analyzing the role of digital education in improving the teaching and learning process through a field study that takes writing skills as a model to track the impact of digitization on learners' expressive performance in the classroom. الملخص: في ظل التحولات الرقمية المتسارعة التي يشهدها العالم، أصبحت رقمنة المنظومة التربوية في المغرب خيارًا استراتيجيًا لا مفر منه، لما تتيحه الوسائط الرقمية من إمكانات في تجويد التعلمات وتطوير الممارسات التربوية. تنطلق هذه الدراسة من إشكالية مركزية مفادها: ما أثر توظيف التعليم الرقمي على تنمية مهارة الكتابة لدى المتعلمين؟ وللإجابة عن هذا السؤال، اعتمدنا منهجًا وصفيًا تحليليًا، مدعومًا بدراسة ميدانية تم إجراؤها في بيئة مدرسية، استهدفت رصد التغيرات في الأداء التعبيري للمتعلمين بعد توظيف الوسائط الرقمية في تدريس مهارة الكتابة.وقد شمل البحث تقديم إطار نظري للتعليم الرقمي، من حيث مفاهيمه، وأهدافه، وأنماطه (المدمج، عن بعد، الذاتي)، وخصائص كل منها، مع إبراز تميّزه عن التعليم التقليدي.أما على المستوى التطبيقي، فقد أظهرت النتائج الأولية تحسنًا ملحوظًا في أداء المتعلمين، سواء على مستوى التنظيم النصي، أو تنويع الأفكار، أو توظيف الوسائط المتعددة في التعبير الكتابي. وتتجلى أهمية هذا البحث في كونه يربط بين الإطار النظري للتحول الرقمي في التعليم، والتطبيق العملي داخل الفصل، بما يتيح إمكانات أوسع لتجويد العملية التعليمية التعلمية.
