Simulation modeling improves dispatch control in rail transport and logistics processes, suggesting enhanced adaptability and efficiency.
In the field of railway transportation, the relevance of rail transport and logistics processes digital twins is increasing. A brief description of the theory and practice of using simulation modeling in dig-ital twins of transport and logistics processes is given, as well as the problems of increasing the adaptability and high labor intensity of creating detailed simulation models. The article considers this problem when planning complex sequences of technological operations. A brief explanation of approaches to modeling the technology of railway transport and logistics processes is given, and the results of their comparative analysis are presented. The main limitations of using the presented ap-proaches are identified. An approach to modeling dispatch control in digital twins of rail transport and logistics processes with complex and multivariate sequences of technological operations is pro-posed. The results of assessing the labor intensity and adaptability of approaches to modeling dis-patch control as part of rail transport and logistics processes digital twin are presented, as well as the results of experiments on the constructed simulation model of operating an in-plant rail yard technol-ogy.
