This article examines different structures and functions of code-switching in the language practices of students of non-linguistic disciplines in Morocco. Morocco is a multilingual country where several languages and varieties coexist. The contact of all these languages and varieties gives rise to several sociolinguistic phenomena, including code-switching. The aim of this article is therefore to ascertain whether languages of study and/or scientific research influence code choice among plurilingual speakers. To this end, a field study was carried out with 100 students at the Errachidia Faculty of Science and Technology. The results show that the manifestations of this phenomenon are influenced by various collective and individual factors, constraints and motivations.
