In 2022, the Biden-Harris Administration held the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health that galvanized public and private sector contributions to help the Administration reach its goals of ending hunger and improving healthy eating and physical activity to reduce diet-related chronic diseases and disparities by 2030. The White House also released a National Strategy on Hunger, Nutrition, and Heath (National Strategy) that listed specific actions for the federal government across 5 pillars, including more than 60 actions for the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
