The results of mineralogical and geochemical studies of a metasomatically altered dolerite dyke, identified on the southeastern flank (Verny site) of the Degdekan gold deposit, are considered. Higher concentrations of Ni, Co, Cr, Pt, and Pd, as well as the widespread development of Cr-Vmuscovite (fuchsite) and nest clusters of Co-Ni-sulfoarsenide - gersdorffite, have been established in metasomatites. Based on the studies performed, the transportation channels and sources of Ni, Co, Pt and Pd in the ores and host rocks of the deposit have been assumed.
