Lumbar spine fractures are common injuries associated with substantial morbidity for patients and socioeconomic burden. This study sought to epidemiologically analyze lumbar spine fractures by mechanism of injury and identify temporal trends in patient demographics and disposition, which few studies have previously evaluated.
