Nowadays, smart devices have excellent computing power and sconnectivity and at the same time are used for various purposes. This creates the possibility for complex, cooperative multi-device programs. However, currently coordinating these devices requires implementing the coordination process separately for each purpose. This paper tackles the problem of coordinating several different types of devices by introducing a cloud-based paradigm for device coordination. Consequently, as cloud-based solutions typically assume established and fast internet connectivity, Bluetooth-based coordination paradigm is introduced to complement the architecture. As an end result the benefits and disadvantages of the both coordination paradigms are disclosed by evaluating the implementations.
