CD8 T cell enrichment is prognostic for Overall Survival (OS), local recurrence (LR) and disease progression but not for distant metastasis (DM) in HPV negative HNSCC in the DKTK-ROG cohort (n=88). (Bottom) After adjusting for Immune cell Infiltration, Hypoxia-M remained an independent prognosticator for local recurrence (HR=3.06, p<0.01) and for disease progression (HR=2.14, p<0.04) with a trend towards worsened OS (HR=1.92, p<0.09). CD8-IHC staining was an independent prognosticator for local recurrence (HR=0.41, p<0.03) an
