The Rio Negro has its source in Colombia and flows through Venezuela and Brazil, specifically in the state of Amazonas. Its waters are dark until it meets the well-known phenomenon: the waters meet the Rio Solimões in the city of Manaus. On its right and left banks, landslides, more popularly known as “gullies”, can be seen on the slope. To this end, this case study was carried out to present solutions and prepare a basic project for hiring a specialized company to carry out works to recover, stabilize and contain a slope downstream, due to an erosion event occurring near a residential complex belonging to a military organization. This event was classified by Civil Defense as an emergency case, due to the impact that affected the lives of residents and passersby who travel there, as well as property losses.
