Incremental sheet forming (ISF) is an unconventional sheet metal forming technique that can be widely used in the automotive, medical, and aerospace industries. The final product is achieved by moving a rotating tool along a defined spiral or profile tool path controlled by a CNC milling machine. A truncated cone shape was modeled in single point incremental forming (SPIF) to investigate the influence of step size, and sheet initial thickness parameters on the forming force components F x , F y , F z during the forming process.
