This paper explores the application of the general-vocational integration concept in reforming vocational education student-cultivation models. It elaborates on the connotation and development of this integration philosophy, analyzes its current implementation status in vocational education—including curriculum design and teaching methodological practices. The study examines challenges such as traditional mindset constraints and institutional imperfections during implementation, proposing targeted strategies including conceptual transformation, system refinement, and faculty development. These efforts aim to provide theoretical support and practical references for optimizing talent cultivation models through general-vocational integration in vocational education, thereby enhancing the quality of talent development.
