The spontaneous mutation of the voice in an opera singer is a very rare fact and worthy of publication. For the first time in the world, this mutational syndrome of a single voice that has been controlled for years and has been recorded over time has been described in all clinical, phoniatric, operatic and laryngological details. We are referring to an unusual case of an opera singer affected by a pituitary adenoma, undiagnosed, for many years, which led him to change his tessitura progressively, going from tenor to bass. This study analyzes the evolution of their laryngeal, stroboscopic, phoniatric and vocal parameters over the years and their persistence even after pituitary surgery.
