Health Champions are volunteers who promote healthy lifestyles by encouraging and supporting others in communities or workplaces to take a more active role in their health. They are sounding boards for discussing health and wellbeing concerns and can signpost people to services. Champions engage with people on a peer‐to‐peer basis and require no medical training or expertise to be effective in the role. The model is well suited to support improvements in men's health and engagement.
