This study explores the shopping habits and motivations of adolescents in Odisha, focusing on their tendencies toward amusement and recreation. The research aimed to identify the key factors influencing adolescent shopping behaviors. A sample of 210 adolescents from Odisha was analyzed to examine five critical factors: entertainment, food, discounts, ambiance, and location. The findings reveal that food and entertainment are the most significant determinants in shaping adolescent shopping preferences. The study also references other similar research, noting that results might differ across regions due to cultural and preference variations. Limitations included constraints on time and data collection. Future research could explore how gender influences shopping motivations and consider a broader range of factors.
