Validity of the "Ferienjob" Internship Agreement Based on Indonesian Positive Law

Internships also aim to help students understand how to work in a professional environment, develop the ability to analyze problems, and enhance their capacity to develop ideas and solutions. The findings of this research indicate that the Ferienjob agreement made by X Agency does not meet administrative requirements and is not in accordance with the positive law of Indonesia, as it does not fulfill the elements stipulated in Article 1320 of the Civil Code. Ferienjob is not related to students' academic activities and cannot be considered a substitute for internships. Ferienjob is a seasonal work program aimed at providing students with the opportunity to work and gain work experience as well as extra pocket money during official semester breaks. The focus of this program is on physical labor, as outlined in the agreement.
