Existence of Kampoeng Batik Jetis and Its Impact on the Socio Ekonomic and Environmental Life of the People of Jetis Village Sidoarjo

The hub of Sidoarjo City's handmade batik industry is Kampoeng Batik Jetis Sidoarjo. This study set out to ascertain whether Kampoeng Batik Jetis existed and how it affected the socioeconomic conditions of the Jetis Sidoarjo community. Methodology: This study employs descriptive and qualitative techniques to enable the gathering of data. Approaches are used in conjunction with documentation, interviews, and observation. Three steps of data analysis techniques were used in this study: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicated that the majority of batik artisans operate their businesses with personal funds. Despite several ups and downs in market share, the growth of the batik industry in Kampoeng Batik Jetis is fairly steady from year to year.
