Implementation is the act to implement, to complete, perform, carry into effect. The identificationof implementation barriers is a major part of implementation science. TASKS framework is arepresentative model to identify implementation barriers considering factors including workload, mental stress and mental capability. This paper reviews TASKS framework. Based on the limitationsof TASKS framework, the author proposes TASK-R framework. The novelty of TASK-R frame isfourfold: 1) involving resource factor into the mental capability; 2) defining the arithmetic relationship between knowledge, skills and resource by introducing dot product operation and convolutional operation; 3) applying the sigmoid function over affect; 4) introducing the projective matrix from objective workload to perceived workload. By the innovation of TASKS-R framework, it is promising to improve the qualitative model into a quantitative model.
