In AMD, rod-mediated dark adaptation (RMDA) at 5° eccentricity is slower in eyes with subretinal drusenoid deposits (SDDs) than in eyes without. Here we quantified SDD burden using supervised deep learning for comparison to vision and photoreceptor topography.
