INSIGHTS INTO MIXED PITUITARY ADENOMA/PITUITARY NEUROENDOCRINE TUMOR-GANGLIOCYTOMAS (PA/PitNet-GC) Kleinschmidt-DeMasters reports on the histological patterns and the immunohistochemical (IHC) properties of 20 mixed PA/PitNet-GC and found 9 with nodular foci, 7 with extensive GC elements and 4 with an intermixed pattern.The author points out that neurofilament and CAM5.2IHC are very helpful in highlighting the axonal and neuronal aspects of the GC components, respectively.page 708
