Cantú syndrome is a rare genetic disorder caused by mutations in two distinctive genes that code for the regulatory or pore-forming subunits of KATP channels in the heart. Affecting fewer than 100 individuals worldwide, it can be identified by its distinctive cardiovascular abnormalities. The rarity of this condition presents significant challenges for professionals alone to make quick and accurate diagnoses. This paper proposes a novel theoretical framework for a multi-modal few-shot learning approach to diagnose Cantú syndrome. The proposed system integrates diverse modalities, including facial photographs, cardiac imaging, clinical descriptions, and genetic information to create a robust diagnostic tool. The paper outlines the theoretical underpinnings of the proposed system, discusses potential data sources, and explores the broader implications for diagnosing other rare genetic disorders. While the current framework is hypothetical due to data limitations, it provides a foundation for future research and development in applying advanced machine-learning techniques to rare disease diagnosis.
