Ritual Communication in the Art of Jaranan Branasti Putro, Ringinsari Village, Kandat District, Kediri Regency

Culture is a method that lives and grows and is owned by a group of people. This research is about the communication of rituals in the traditional art of Jaranan Branasti Putro which comes from Ringinsari village, Kandat District, Kediri Regency. Communication, Communion, Common are described in this study. This Jaranan art has a magical element that is always associated with something supernatural or mystical. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. The performance of Jaranan Branasti Putro, of course, also has several sessions that are shown in the performance, starting from ritual communication before the performance, during the performance and after the performance so that it gets appreciation from various audiences. The Branasti Putro Jaranan itself is usually held when there are celebrations, circumcisions, etc. Horses, sprints, piggy banks and barongans are the properties in the Jaranan Branasti Putro performance.
