In this paper the author studies the occurrences and the distribution of two Dacoromanian terms, mazăre ʻpeasʼ and fasole ʻbeansʼ, in the Romanian dialects from the Serbian Timoc, in order to observe and to specify which is, on the one hand, the semantical (= lexemic), onomasiological and semasiological state of these two terms and, on the other hand, the definition of this treble statute in relation with the dialects of Romanian in Banat and Oltenia regions of north-danubian Romania.
