One of the educational activities in Islam is Majlis taklim, which is a flexible and open educational model. Within the realm of learning methods, the Usmani method stands out. This method combines three approaches: the Riwayah method, Dirayah, and a teaching model that promotes effective Quran learning. The purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness of the Usmani method employed by the mother's committee of the Taklim Reciting community at the Grand Mosque in Kediri City for Quranic education, as well as to identify the challenges faced when using this method. The background issue being addressed is the significant number of elderly mothers who struggle with reading the Quran and are unfamiliar with the Hijaya letters. The research methodology employed is qualitative, involving field research that provides an unbiased description of the problems encountered.
