In the electroplating industry, alloy plating is typically one of the most difficult processes. We are showcasing the Ni-Cr (Nickel Chromium) alloy electroplating in our work. Trivalent chromium bath is made in order to resist the hazardous hexavalent chromium, and co-deposition of chromium and nickel is accomplished. Our work is appropriate for industrial electroplating in the automotive industry because Ni-Cr alloy exhibits good corrosion resistance along with features including wear resistance, ductility, and thermal stability. Through the use of SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy), EDAX (Energy Dispersive X-Ray Analysis), and XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) studies, we are able to clearly observe the surface morphology in this project. These research allow us to observe the Porous behavior surfaces.
