Constructing an Evaluation Framework for CRM Strategy: Evolve or Build?

This paper touches upon the challenges and discussions involved in transitioning Company X's Commercial Banking Salesforce instance to Financial Service Cloud.The analysis compares two approaches: either evolving the current org or resetting it into a new organization.Various dimensions such as project management, implementation, data migration, environment, costs and so on are thoroughly examined.The advantages and disadvantages of each approach are listed, along with potential phased approaches for both evolving and resetting.Additionally, the paper highlights key recommendations for org assessment and FSC migration.One of the purposes of the results is to provide a framework for decision-making and successful implementation of the transition that maximizes value and minimizes risk for Company X.
