Motivation is a crucial factor in memorizing the Quran. One well-known motivational theory is Abraham H. Maslow's Motivation Theory, also known as Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory. The motivation to memorize the Quran varies among individuals, particularly among students at SDI Plus Imam Muslim, where each student's motivation is influenced by their unique circumstances and needs. These differences in motivation can impact the quality of the students' Quran memorization. This study aims to shape students' motivation to memorize the Quran at SDI Plus Imam Muslim by implementing Abraham H. Maslow's Motivation Theory. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method, with analysis conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. Teachers provide motivation through advice on the benefits of memorizing the Quran and by sharing stories of companions who were hafiz (those who memorized the Quran). Parents support this process by maintaining supervision and not giving children complete freedom without oversight.
