The increase in climate events is leading thousands of people to homelessness. This research proposes the creation of emergency shelters based on the energy efficiency of Bioclimatic Zone 2 in Santa Catarina, due to its predominance in the state. Using the WikiHouse system, the prototypes demonstrated satisfactory efficiency, notably through the use of passive conditioning. Both the cooling and heating of the buildings performed well, making the proposed model viable. It is concluded that this shelter represents an applicable solution to the climate challenges in the region, promoting resilience in the face of such events.
