This article investigates the consequences of the El Niño climatic phenomenon and the North Atlantic warming in 2023 on the Turumã-Açu stream in Manaus, Amazonas. The study focuses on the impacts of drought on waterway and port transportation, using an analytical approach based on rainfall data and photographic records. The methodology includes the analysis of meteorological and hydrological data provided by institutions such as Inmet and Inpe, as well as direct on-site observations. The research indicates a significant correlation between the climatic events and the reduction of the stream's water depth, affecting navigability and waterway transport infrastructure. This work aims to contribute to the understanding of the local effects of climate change, establishing a relationship between navigability and the low rainfall index caused by climate change
