The increase in energy consumption and mobility demand has resulted in approximately one-quarter of global CO2 emissions coming from the transportation sector, with road transport leading this growth. Emissions have been increasing at an annual rate of about 2%. In this context, Green Corridors are essential as they improve the microclimate and integrate sustainable urban infrastructure. This study reviews the importance of these corridors, highlighting best practices and challenges, particularly in the Brazil-China context. This focus is chosen due to Brazil's significant trade relationship with China, standing out in Latin America.
