The purpose of this paper is to summarize the experience gained during the design stage, and the technical and operative considerations for a new concept of liner less well construction with a single trip completion in wells with a short section of open hole reservoir, instead of running 7in liner hanger and completing the well with a lower and upper completion as a current practice. The solution keeps the flexibility to disconnect the upper completion part above the production packer for any workover and provides the ability to reconnect a new upper completion section expediting the well to production. Combining different phases during the well construction and completion streamlines operations and communications, improves operational efficiency, and reduces cost during initial production and further interventions, while extending the well life and productivity.
