The Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR) can swiftly and precisely synchronize with the grid’s phase and accurately determine the reference voltage of the DVR in the presence of three-phase unbalanced voltage sag, harmonic distortion, and DC offset in the grid. A stationary reference frame moving average filter phase-locked loop ( αβ MAF-PLL) can be utilized to efficiently and precisely synchronize the reference voltage of the DVR under less-than-ideal grid conditions. Simulation models of the dynamic voltage restorer under different power network scenarios are created in Matlab/Simulink, with the simulation results confirming the speed and effectiveness of the DVR based on αβ MAF-PLL.
