In the current development, attention is directed to the curricula of the discipline ‘Information and communication technologies in education and work in a digital environment’, which is mandatory according to the Ordinance on the state requirements for acquiring the professional qualification teacher of Bulgarian universities preparing teachers in professional fields 1.2. pedagogy and 1.3. pedagogy of training in… in the educational-qualification degree bachelor. The relationship between the subjects offered in the curricula and the European framework for the digital competence of teachers (DigCompEdu) was sought, in order to determine whether the training in this discipline leads to the formation of competences in the six areas specified in it. Conclusions are drawn and recommendations are formulated for synchronizing the content with the digital competencies that, according to the framework, must be acquired.
