To be competitive and maintain long-term viability, each company must have an innovative work culture. Because of its strong religious heritage, Sri Lanka is seen as a spiritual nation; nevertheless, this has not gotten sufficient domestic attention to enhance the much-needed advancements. Thus, the primary goal of this research is to determine the relationship between Innovative Work Behavior (IWB) and Spiritual Intelligence (SI), as well as the degree to which Organization Culture (OC) and Psychological Empowerment (PE) function as moderators and mediators, respectively. To accomplish these study goals, a mixed approach was used, in which 287 employee responses from two of Sri Lanka's top commercial banks in the private sector were gathered using a standardized questionnaire for quantitative analysis. Additionally, ten employees were considered for the qualitative study through in-person and telephone interviews. According to the quantitative analysis, the study concludes that, there’s a favourable influence of SI on IWB, yet moderate, with OC acting as a partial mediating factor on IWB, while PE strengthening the relationship yet not significantly. The qualitative analysis precisely validated the findings of the previously described quantitative findings.
