The Study on The Direction of Local Government System and Direction of Innovation City in Gyeongnam and Busan

The purpose of this study was to analyze the local government system that has grown in a relatively short period and to consider research that could be a proposal for the relationship and direction of the 21c Gyeongnam and Busan Innovation City.Based on the actual operation of the local government system, it was intended to analyze the regional characteristics and development directions of Gyeongnam and Busan and the relationship-oriented characteristics with innovation cities in a related manner.The central and local governments are continuing despite trial and error in the implementation of the local government system, and the local development in the process of developing an Innovation City was studied.The progress of the Gyeongnam and Busan Innovation City was analyzed in a related manner by referring to the relationship between the reality arising from the balanced national development.The revitalization of Seoul and the metropolitan area intensified the weakening of the province and the national imbalance.Accordingly, efforts for balanced regional development and local autonomy systems are continuing.In addition to efforts to prevent the concentration of the metropolitan area through the development of innovation cities nationwide, the results of the formation of a new settlement environment through the transfer of the overall living area from the metropolitan area to the province following the migration of public institutions were confirmed.This can take into account that the local government system and the construction of an Innovation City are related.Currently, the National Innovation City construction policy is being completed.Among them, the relationship between innovation cities in Gyeongnam and Busan and the local government system was analyzed intensively.In addition, it is possible to emphasize the necessity of preparing countermeasures for overcrowding centered on the metropolitan area and research on the future direction of innovation cities.Through this, we propose the need to design a competitive urban development plan centered on the provinces to bridge the gap with Seoul and the metropolitan area so that the provinces do not disappear.It is not too much to emphasize the necessity of research so that the Busan and Gyeongnam Innovation City system can be stabilized and the Innovation City at the national level can be stabilized for the realization of the correct local autonomy system and competitive local development.
