This paper is an analytical study of the Technology Transfer Agreement and its applicability in the legal system. This analysis is of great relevance to academia, providing a better understanding of its application in Brazil. Its analysis exposes the dynamism of the subject in the legal system. In this way, we can see the occasions when there is an incidence of norms that make application possible. Therefore, from a legalistic point of view, the legal foundations that justify its application in the resolution of a dispute will be shown. Finally, the aim is to analyze the subject from a historical, legal and social perspective, through the central importance that technology, as property and as a commodity, has for the development of the contemporary market and human consumer and work activities.
