In aeronautical telemetry systems, diversity is often used to overcome multipath interference in frequency-selective fading channels. Generalized Time-Reversed Space-Time Block Coding (GTR-STBC) is a promising diversity scheme, which differs from other diversity schemes in that it dynamically allocates power to multiple transmit antennas based on feedback parameters from the receiver. However, the original system did not offer a solution for scenarios involving multiple receiving antennas, and it required a significant number of iterations during the computation process, leading to high computational complexity. In this paper, we propose a dual-receiving-antenna algorithm based on Maximum Ratio Combining (MRC) for GTR-STBC systems. Compared to single-receiving-antenna systems, the proposed algorithm improves the bit error rate performance by 0.6-1.2 dB. In scenarios with single receiving antennas, the proposed algorithm eliminates the need for iterative computation, significantly reducing computational complexity while maintaining negligible performance loss.
