Oral ulceration with bone sequestration (OUBS) is a pathological condition characterized by localized ulceration overlying exposed and non-vital bone in patients without known etiological factors for osteonecrosis.Despite its clinical significance, OUBS is largely underreported in medical and scientific literature. This paper presents a case of OUBS observed in a 28-year-old female smoker after the extraction of her mandibular wisdom teeth. We highlight the diagnostic challenges, risk factors, symptoms, and management strategies of OUBS, emphasizing the importance of differential diagnosis to avoid misdiagnosis and ensure timely and effective treatment. Our case underscores the need for heightened awareness among healthcare professionals and encourages the documentation and sharing of similar cases to enhance understanding and management of this condition.
