The Demokrat Party has joined the Koalisi Perubahan untuk Persatuan in the 2024 election by nominating Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate. However, this coalition had an internal conflict where the Demokrat Party left the coalition because of Muhaimin Iskandar's unilateral decision to be the vice presidential candidate without discussions with coalition party members. So the Demokrat Party initially proposed the name Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono as vice presidential candidate must be leave the coalition. Based on the problems, the aim of this research is to explain the attitude of the Demokrat Party towards the Koalisi Perubahan untuk Persatuan which nominated Muhaimin Iskandar as vice presidential candidate. This research uses Stella Ting-Toomey's facial negotiation theory with a descriptive analysis approach. The primary data that will be analyzed in this research refers to social media especially YouTube. And secondary data comes from online media as supporting data.
