In some applications, including but not limited to synthetic-aperture radar (SAR) imagery and wireless communication, the Weibull distribution is more flexible than the exponential distribution for these purposes because it fits particularly well at the heavy tail of the sea clutter. Accurate and efficient simulation of radar sea clutter is practically significant for radar signal processing and sea target detection. In this paper, we present an algorithm based on Zero Memory Nonlinear Transformation (ZMNL) to simulate the coherent correlated Weibull distribution, modeling random scalar fields with intensity following the Weibull distribution, and extend it to random vector fields. At last, we explored the application of time-domain fusion methods in sea clutter suppression.
