A study of the ideas of future employees of traffic safety departments about the image of a traffic police officer

The main objective of the personnel policy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation is to increase the professionalism of police officers, as well as to create a completely new image of an employee to create a positive image. The object of the conducted scientific research is the image of a traffic police officer. The subject is the peculiarities of the ideas of cadets of the educational organization of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, future employees of traffic safety units, about the image of a traffic police officer. The purpose of the scientific work is to study the characteristics of the image of a traffic police officer. The research method was a questionnaire survey and analysis of the data obtained. The image of a traffic police officer consists of a large number of elements; they depend on the conditions in which the employees work and the specifics of their activities in general. The formation of an employee’s opinion about his activities begins from the first day of admission to study at an organization of higher professional education in a given specialty and in the process of training is transformed depending on a large number of factors, both professional and personal (the degree of mastery of the content of the disciplines studied, the presence of success in studies, absence of violations of discipline).
