Research on the evaluation and optimization path of long-term care insurance policy in Chengdu and Chongqing--Based on the PMC index model

This paper applies the quantitative method of policy text to construct an evaluation index system based on the PMC index model to quantitatively evaluate the long-term care insurance policies introduced in Chengdu and Chongqing since 2017. The study finds that long-term care insurance policies have dilemmas in terms of policy subjects, policy areas, and policy tool combinations. The direction of future policy optimization should strengthen collaboration between departments; focus on the development of weak policy areas; and optimize the combination of policy tools.
